Rockstar Drinks

Rockstar Drinks

Rockstar is a top selling beverage in one of the fastest growing drink categories in the country - energy drinks. These drinks are being embraced by teens and college kids as a source of caffeine and energy to help them stay awake while studying for exams and to allow them to get by on less sleep. Even more disturbing is the fact that mixing energy drinks with alcohol is a growing trend among college students. What are the ingredients in Rockstar energy drink and is this beverage safe?
Rockstar Drink Ingredients: Caffeine and Sugar
As would be expected, Rockstar energy drink has the requisite caffeine and sugar. In fact an eight ounce can of Rockstar has a whopping 31 grams of sugar and 140 calories. Combine that with eighty milligrams of caffeine and you can see that Rockstar isn't a good choice for anyone who suffers from heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or obesity - or anyone for that matter.
